Actor Headshot
A plain grey-backdrop casting headshot built to look like you on audition day — skin texture kept, no slimming or smoothing.
Turn this photo into a commercial actor's headshot. Keep my exact facial features, face shape, skin texture, age and hairstyle unchanged: the headshot must look exactly like me on the day I walk into an audition, so do not beautify, slim or smooth my face. Keep my own smile from the photo. I wear a simple solid-coloured crew-neck top with no logos. Plain soft grey backdrop, soft window-style key light with gentle fill, eyes in sharp focus, shallow depth of field. Framed from mid-chest up, camera at eye level. Natural colour, no heavy retouching. No text anywhere in the image.
How to use it
Only edit photos you have permission to use, including permission from the people pictured.
- Choose an eye-level portrait with visible eyes and enough room for the final shoulder or waist crop.
- Attach the source in an AI image editor compatible with this prompt (Gemini · ChatGPT (any AI image editor)), then paste the prompt. Set the clothing, lighting, and crop for the profile where you will use the image; name a side if you need room for text.
- Compare age, skin texture, and facial proportions with the source, then preview the intended profile crop. Correct unwanted retouching before export.
- Save the accepted image separately from the original and label it as AI-edited when sharing. Use the saved edit as the source if you choose to animate it next.

What happened when we tested it
One run. The face held closely: the small marks on her cheeks, the skin texture and her eye shape all came through, and the grey backdrop with a plain navy top reads as a real casting shot. Two things moved. The smile came back smaller and neater than the open grin in the source, with whiter, more even teeth — 'keep my own smile' kept a smile, not quite that smile. And the stray hairs on top of her head were tidied away even though the prompt says to keep the hairstyle. A headshot is meant to match you in the room, so compare the teeth and hairline at full size before you send it.
